Tracey Carr
ICEFIT Master Trainer
Nominated for ACE Fitness Educator of the Year 2005, and ACE Fitness Director of the Year, 2003 and currently the Group Exercise Supervisor of Edward Health & Fitness Center in Naperville, IL Tracey Carr has over fifteen years of experience in the health and fitness industry.
She is certified in dozens of areas of fitness including Registered Yoga Teacher, Thai Yoga Therapy, Pilates- both mat and reformer, ACE, AFAA, AAAI, AASI (American Association Snow board Instructors) Level 1, Master Trainer for BOSU & BOSU Pro Series, Creative Step, Foundation in the CORE: Pilates, Functional Core Stabilization and MORE. Also certified in Schwinn Cycling, Yoga and Boxing. She has been presenter faculty for U of A Fitness FEST, Blast Workshops, Heart Zones International Conference and featured in a pre natal Pilates Video for Powerhouse Pilates. Tracey presents as a fitness educator throughout the USA .
Renee Nelson
ICEFIT Master Trainer
Renee has taught in the fitness industry for more than 20 years. She witnessed the beginning of step, the introduction of the BOSU and everything in-between. As a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor at Edward Health and Fitness Centers in suburban Chicago, Renee stays very busy. In addition to teaching cardio-kickboxing, strength, aqua, pilates, BOSU and dance, she trains several clients, specializing in the sport specific areas of golf, boxing fitness, water polo, basketball and running. This martial artist (a Brown Belt in Tae Kwon Do) is an avid runner, currently training for the Chicago Marathon. Her husband, Tony, is also a marathon runner while their 4 daughters (aged 5-17) are active in swimming, water polo, volleyball and dance. Juggling her family and fitness with humor and ease makes Renee an inspiration to everyone in her life!
Carol Teteak
ICEFIT Master Trainer
Carol is a Continuing Education Provider for ACE, AFAA and ICEFIT, as well as a BOSU Master Trainer, Gliding Master Trainer and Golf Conditioning Specialist. Her experiences as a Martial Artist, Group Fitness Instructor and ACE Personal Trainer at Edward Health and Fitness Centers in suburban Chicago has lead her to develop and implement several sport related fitness and educational programs for members and local athletes/heroes, (including a Silver Medallist at the 2005 Nagano Winter Special Olympics and a wounded Military Veteran from Iraq who is also a local police officer and father of sextuplets). Known for her dedication, enthusiasm and humor, Carol has been mentoring instructors, educating local Elementary and Jr. High students and supporting Diabetes and Cancer Research for several years. This busy wife and mother of 2 loves her job - and it shows!
Jo Stokes
ICEFIT iCycle Master Trainer
Jo has worked in the health & fitness industry for 20 years, teaching group fitness classes, personal training, managing health clubs, training fitness instructors, teaching community based fitness programs, and running her own company FITFIRST which was dedicated to providing continuing education to fitness professionals. As a fitness presenter & master trainer, she has presented numerous workshops & has certified hundreds of cycling instructors throughout the U.S. Jo holds 3 cycling certifications, 2 personal training certifications, is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), is AAAI/ISMA yoga certified, as well as T' ai Chi Chuan & Chi Gong certified, is a certified kick boxing instructor, & holds a degree in Exercise Science. She has appeared in many instructor training videos; "Yoga Tech 1" & "Yoga Tech 2", "T' ai Chi 24/24", & "Chi Gong 1". She created & appeared in the videos "Yoga Buns 1 & 2" & co-created "Yoga Tech 3" in conjunction with the world renowned Yoga Works Studio in Los Angeles. She resides in "Big D" - Dallas with her husband & 3 beautiful daughters who keep her very grounded!

With over 15 years of professional experience, Daina is an accomplished motivator and is regarded as one of the top indoor cycling instructors in the DFW market. Among the first group of instructors to be Spinning certified in Texas , she is credited with helping to grow cycling programs at the prestigious Premier Club in Dallas and at other top clubs throughout North Texas . With long-time friend and collaborator, Jo Stokes, she co-created and implemented an innovative and highly successful training program for high school athletes called Students On Bikes (S.O.B.). S.O.B. incorporates sports psychology through indoor cycling, boot camp and yoga to train both the mind and body for peak performance. A Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance, Daina also owned and operated a community based yoga program, Yoga at the Shores and is currently teaching yoga and cycling to hundreds of students weekly through classes at The Premier Club, Lifetime Fitness and Yoga Island . In addition to her RYT and Spinning certifications, Daina is a certified personal trainer and holds certifications through AFAA, AAA/ISMA, Precision Cycling, YogaFit, Trekking, Turbo-Kick and Gravity. By sharing her knowledge and passion for fitness she has mentored and trained numerous instructors and has inspired countless others. Daina finds her inspiration from her three active children and incredibly supportive husband!
Nancy Karlos
ICEFIT Master Trainer
Physical fitness has always been a part of Nancy 's life; as young as ten years of age, she was leading her classmates through aerobic workouts and by age fourteen she was teaching cheerleading at a Park District. Nancy has been part of numerous National Champion cheerleading squads. Her enthusiasm and leadership skills made her stand out and earned her several individual cheerleading titles as well. Nancy has been instructing group fitness classes since 1992. She holds certifications in Group Fitness from both ACE and AFAA. She has also earned her Personal Training, Kick boxing, Bosu Master Trainer, Yoga and Pilates certifications. Nancy teaches a wide range of exercise formats, and in 2004 she added Gymnastics Instructor to her credentials. Most recently, Nancy and one of her sons, have both taken up karate. Nancy is an educator at heart and has a way of making even the most complicated workouts safe and easy to follow.
